A Retrospective
A very small number of you are concerned by the title of this article, but I can only assure you that this is something far worse.1
A LONG TIME AGO
A long time ago, nerds fixated on the idea of creepypasta. Format and constraint breed continuity and ingenuity, so, a fiction website was born.2
So, so much came from this place, more than you’d realize even if you considered it. Ideas seeded in to the night, passed around.
This is your regular reminder that every single one of these corpogovs is a parasite upon your innate perfect self, Dear Reader, truly the breadth and beauty of what people can get up to when left to their passions is astounding.
As much as the flame repels the dark, it also serves as beacon to the night.
The story is as old as time, and ends happily3 but it’s worth consideration of what was brought about, if only for a lesson through comparative topology.
The darkest thing, from the darkest time, was the ritualized rape of a child.
